With the advent of Conversations with a Killer: The John Wayne Gacy Tapes on Netflix, it’s clear that the platform continues to bet heavily on documentary series about horrible criminals.
Recently, Jimmy Savile: A British Horror Story and Conversations with a Murderer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, the other documentary along Gacy’s lines, and the one that came on 20th April does not come out.
The story of John Wayne Gacy It is narrated in three parts and by the voice of the murderer himself. Production led by Joe Berlinger (the director of The Ted Bundy Tapes) has over sixty hours of exclusive material.

The story, in addition to examining the murders committed by Gacy, serves as an exploration of the wheel mind of the protagonist.
The sinful murderer killed, raped and tortured at least 33 young men in the United States in the 1970s. He hid the bodies of almost everyone in his basement. In most cases, Gacy used his power as a successful entrepreneur to attract his young victims by offering them jobs.
A peculiarity of the criminal is that at some point in his life he dressed up as Pogo, a character he himself created, to enliven children’s parties. It is noteworthy that he did not lack the time to occupy small political positions.
It is not known why Gacy did that, even though his brain was studied. John Wayne was sentenced in March 1980 to life imprisonment and hanging. for sexual assault, child abuse, sodomy and murder.
On May 10, 1994, he was killed by lethal injection. At the time it was said that his last words were: “Killing me will not return any of the victims. The state is killing me! They won’t know where the others are! Kiss Me!”
