In 1910, together with other colleagues, he developed the International Congress of Women, which was based in Buenos Aires and was one of the first international feminist events. But it was the following year when she fulfilled one of her main orders: the female vote. The Municipality of Buenos Aires had summoned citizens to update their data for the electoral rolls, but made no mention of anything related to gender.

For this reason a judge, after she had asked to be registered before the courts, deemed her request legitimate and allowed her to participate in the elections. Lanteri voted on November 26, 1911 in the Parish of San Juan Evangelista, in the La Boca neighborhood, thus becoming the first woman to vote in Argentina.

Then he raised a long political career, together with her aforementioned party, with which she was a candidate for national deputy. However, her political participation brought him enemies from conservative sectors, which would end his homocide in 1932 after being hit by a motorist and fleeing.
