A woman, whose identity has not been revealed by the Colombian police, she seduced a drug dealer to avenge her partner’s death and managed to hand over her husband’s killer to the local authorities.
The woman has long planned a plan of ultimate revenge against the man responsible for the death of her partner. The proposed plan was to make the killer fall in love with him, gain his trust, and then hand him over to Interpol.
The killer is Rubén Darío Viloria Barrios, also known by the name of “Juancho”.
The woman who planned revenge against a drug trafficker
Barrios had switched identities to avoid local police officers. According to information from the Colombian media, Viloria Barrios posed as a very religious merchant that he regularly visited the church during his free time.
In his later years he went by the name “Juancho” and kept a low profile. Although he looked like an everyman, Viloria Barrios coordinated the shipment of one and a half tons of cocaine a month from Central America to the United States.
The multi-crime network led by Viloria Barrios would be linked to the massacre perpetrated in the municipality of San Carlos (Córdoba), on January 28, and to other murders recorded in San Bernardo del Viento and Chinú (Córdoba).
Viloria Barrios would take care of receiving in Urabá, Antioquia, emissaries of the drug trafficking organizations of Panama, Costa Rica and Honduras, to coordinate the sale of drugs.
All logistics and delivery of goods was done by boat.
In addition to these transfers, Viloria Barrios has carried out several murders and kidnappings of her competitors and other people. Indeed, the husband of the woman who denounced him discovered his criminal side and that’s why he ended up murdered.
How the revenge of the drug trafficker’s widow came true
After her husband’s death, the widow promised to carry out revenge and planned it with everything possible.
The “avenger” contacted ‘Juancho’ to get to know him better and make him fall in love with him. Over time, the criminal began to trust her and told her not only his feelings, but also the details of his crimes.
Posing as Juancho’s lover, the woman collected evidence against him and forwarded it to the Special Operations Command of the Colombian police. Interpol has also been contacted.
After maintaining drama for several months, the woman made an appointment with Viloria Barrios in Montería, in northern Colombia, where the police captured him.
Referring to the fact Colombian police said: “According to information gathered by intelligence directorate investigators, this person has a criminal record of more than 10 yearsmaking himself known for his war capacity in coordinating attacks against the Public Force”.
The authorities added that the arrest warrant against the drug includes suspicion of trafficking, manufacturing and possession of narcotics. Colonel Gabriel García said Juancho is also accused of manufacturing, trafficking and possessing weapons and ammunition.
The drug trafficker was sentenced to 22 years in prison.
