A truck carrying paint and varnish suffered a shocking incident on a route through a mountainous area of Uzbekistan, when reasons are under investigation flipped over at high speed and caught fire.
The Uzbek Emergencies Ministry has released the images of the spectacular accident, which occurred this Thursday a few minutes after 11 at kilometer 259 of the Tashkent-Osh international highway and which caused the instant death of the driver.
For reasons that have not yet been ascertained, the truck – which was traveling at high speed in the fast lane of the motorway – overturned while going through a sharp curve and overturned on its left side.
The incident caused the cargo of paint and varnish to spill onto the asphalt of the course and instantly catch fire, in the lanes on both hands.
Fire and rescue teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations immediately arrived at the scene of the accident and extinguished the fire in about 25 minutes.
following the accident 6 people were injured, who were admitted to the nearest medical centre. The flames also reached three vehicles circulating in the area at the time of the accident.
After managing to put out the fire completely, emergency crews found the driver dead inside the cab of the truck.
