Julián Figueroa, son of the famous actress Maribel Guardia and the singer Joanna Sebastian, died on Sunday at the age of 27 and the news shocked his thousands of followers.
Surprisingly, the day before his death, the Mexican musician and performer had posted a message on his social networks for his father who died in 2015 and who would have turned 72 that day.
“How slowly 8 years have passed, since the day you left, time has a more bitter taste. And people proclaim that time has to fix everything, but it’s a vile lie, it hurts more every day and without fear of hurting sensitivity… here it is”, begins a message that may have worried many.
And he continues: “The fans insult LONG LIVE THE PEOPLE’S POET, but I don’t give a damn, I ONLY LOVE MY DAD. To hell with the Grammys with the fame and the money, because my only desire is to hug you… another time”.
“I love you DAD and if your death hurts me it’s because your life was so precious to me”, concludes the heartfelt memory.
Figueroa is the third son of Joan Sebastian who died. The first was Trigo de Jesús Figueroa, assassinated in August 2006 by one of the fans of “Rey del Jaripeo”.
In June 2010, four years later, Juan Sebastián Figueroa González died in Cuernavaca, Morelos from an armed attack that left him with multiple wounds.
The cause of his death
According to reports from Telemundo, the young man was found dead in his home in Mexico City. After hours of confusion over the cause of Figueroa’s death, her mother confirmed the reason via a message on her Instagram account.
“Dear friends, I am sorry to have to announce the departure of my beloved son Julián Figueroa, who unfortunately preceded us on this plane. They found him unconscious in his room tonight while I was at the theater. They called 911 and when the ambulance and police arrived they found him dead, with no trace of violence. The medical report indicates that he died of acute myocardial infarction and ventricular fibrillation“The Guard reported.
The woman then thanked for the messages of support received after her tragic loss: “I ask for understanding for the deep pain we are going through, I would like to talk to all the people who are trying to communicate, but I really don’t have the strength to do it yet I ask everyone to respect our privacy and the painful time we have been going through.”
“His funeral will be held in private, next to the people closest to him and who loved him the most. I thank all the messages of support and love you are sending me, but right now I have no soul to reply to anyone; I hope I can do it another time. A huge thank you to everyone for understanding,” he concluded.
