Marbel Guardia broke the silence and mentioned for the first time the death of his son Julian Figueroa. The actress appeared before the press accompanied by Imelda Garza Tuñón, wife of the deceased young man.

“I want to thank you for accompanying us through this painful moment. Julián died at home and that’s why I didn’t want to do anything at the funeral home,” Guardia described.

“He was my love, the apple of my eye. It was very difficult to lose it, but God gave it to me and God took it away from me,” said the actress, bursting into tears.

Maribel Guardia commented that her little nephew, Julián Figueroa’s son, is aware of the situation, but still cannot understand, “Yesterday I told him that his father had died and that he was an angel, but of course he still doesn’t get it. I received so many flowers, but I didn’t even want to see them”, says the actress and singer, who left accompanied by her daughter-in-law.

After revealing that she will be keeping her son’s ashes, Maribel Guardia detailed what the altar she built for Julián Figueroa is like. It was at that moment that Imelda Garzo-Tuñón, the singer’s partner, remembered that a drawing that José Julián had given to his father had been placed next to the urn.

After hearing the heartbreaking statement, Maribel Guardia recalled that this drawing was present until the last moment of Julián Figueroa’s life. She also recalled one of the last talks she had with her son, receiving the support of everyone present.

In this sense, the protagonist of the comedy “Lagunilla mi barrio” said that the day before Julián Figueroa had asked her for “something” to be able to paste the drawing that his son had given him. She confessed that she was getting ready to go out for a work commitment, so she couldn’t help Julián Figueroa.

“The day before, curiously, on my way to the theatre, he said to me ‘Mom, do you have a diurex that I could borrow a little bit?’ I was rushing to the theater as always. I was looking for it and didn’t find it. “Lend me one, because look at the drawing that Julián did for me,” explained the actress.
