A Malaysian parent who presented a luxury foreign car worth over 500 million won to her 5-year-old daughter who refused to go to school is drawing attention.

Local entrepreneur Farhana Zahra posted a video on her TikTok account on the 10th saying that she gave her daughter Fatima (5) a gift she promised for her 5th birthday.

Previously, on the 31st of last month, Parhana asked Fatima, “What kind of present do you want for your fifth birthday?” Then her daughter replied, “either a green Mercedes Gwagen or a BMW.” Parhana said, “Okay, her mom buys her a car and she goes to school. OK?” she agreed.

Later, on the day of Fatima’s birthday, he was surrounded by a crowd of people, blindfolded with a black eyepatch. Fatima, who was holding her parents’ hands, took off his blindfold and smiled broadly.

Right in front of Fatima’s eyes, a ‘Mercedes Zivagen’ vehicle decorated with balloons appeared in a transparent box on top of the truck. The vehicle is known to be worth 1.79 million ringgit (approximately 532 million won).

Parhana said, “Congratulations on your daughter’s 5th birthday. “I’m glad I got the G-Wagon that her daughter so much wanted,” he wrote. “The ecstatic daughter got her car keys right.”

Fatima went to school for the first time last January, but had to drop out after one day because she was ill. However, even after he recovered, he refused to return to school, saying “I am too young.”

Parhana added, “Now that I have received the gift as Fatima wished, I hope that I can diligently go to school and fulfill my ambition to become a doctor.”

Meanwhile, this is not the first time Parhana, who is considered a successful local businesswoman, has flaunted her wealth. In April of last year, he released a video in which he withdrew 2 million ringgit (about 594 million won) from a bank for Hari Raya (Islamic festival), drawing criticism from netizens.
