The chosen men and women are between 20 and 60 years old, with no other cardiovascular risk factors.

Blood pressure and heart rate were measured at the beginning, during and at the end of the study.

The effects of vitamin E

According to information on the Medline Plus site, the Vitamin E has the following properties.

– It’s an antioxidant. This means that it protects the body’s tissues from damage caused by substances called free radicals, which can affect cells, tissues and organs and are linked to aging.

It helps keep the immune system strong against viruses and bacteria.

– Helps form red blood cells, so that blood clots inside them.

There are even studies that indicate this can affect the prevention of cancer, heart disease, dementia, liver disease and stroke.
