Sometimes things happen like this they are so unusual that it is very hard to believe that they are true, even when we see or experience them. Something like this happened off the coast of a Canadian town and, obviously, not everyone is convinced of its veracity.
And the truth is that non-believers can not be criticized, because undoubtedly the floating passage of a huge one iceberg shaped like a penis off a small town called Dildo, whose Spanish translation is consolador, is nothing short of incredible.
Furthermore extremely funny.
But it actually happened (which makes it even funnier). It was local photographer Ken Pretty who discovered the iceberg and he managed to capture the “bizarre” scene on his camera.
Then he shared his photo on the networks, where It didn’t take long for it to go viral.. The locals even gave it a name worthy of Mel Brooks; Dicky Berg. Now the whole story ends perfectly.
“The resemblance is… you know, it’s good, right? It’s as amazing as it sounded aside from male anatomy,” Pretty told al Star of Torontoafter the photo went viral.
Even the photographer said so he used a drone to capture the penis-shaped iceberg in its complete form before it began to melt. “Looking from the ground, it wasn’t entirely clear, but once I got the drone out, it was amazing how it looked like, well, you know.”
“People don’t believe it’s real. They think it’s photoshopped… I can tell you it’s real,” she pointed out.
By sharing your photo on Facebook, users couldn’t help but joke about its resemblance to the male reproductive system. One user wrote: “Mother Nature has a sense of humour!” “Pfft, it’s just medium size,” added another user.
A third user wrote: “This is just the tip of the icebergWhile another added, “It saddens me that it’s melting…how quickly they age.”
And another: “This is some hard ice. Let’s talk about northern exposure“. Ingenuity in networks is also sometimes surprising.
The city of dildos it is located on the island of Newfoundlandin the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The island is surrounded by icebergs. The local government has identified 66 that currently transit on its banks.
In fact, the island is promoted as one of the best places to see these gigantic sheets of ice. On their website they say: “When it comes to seeing icebergs, this is one of the best places in the world.”
From April to August, these 10,000-year-old glacial giants they are visible from many points along the northern and eastern coasts, especially on clear and sunny days.
“They come in all shapes and sizesranging from snow white to the deepest aquamarine,” Pretty explained.
“Despite their arrival from the Arctic every spring and their disappearance just a few months later, our amazement for them is still newyear after year”, closes the site.
