Flawed crime in Peru: they stole more than 200 sneakers, took them on a tricycle, but they were all on the right foot

Three thieves broke into a shoe store in Huancayo, Peru on Sunday night and they stole 220 shoes, but they all matched the right foot.

Huancayo, located in the central-south of the South American country, saw the opening of its new store a few months ago with a varied offer of footwear from the most recognized brands.

In block 2 of Prolongación Cajamarca, between 2:30 and 3:30 in the morning, three criminals decided to give an aggressive welcome to the brand new establishment, with nothing less than a robbery and a curious way of taking possession of the goods.

Cinema has provided examples of perfect crimes and others, which end in truly chaotic, funny or even dramatic situations.

In this case there were no complaints of injuries or physical violence, but the feeling that the loot was not as attractive as promised.

According to local authorities, reports the Daily mail From Peru, the owner of the establishment, a 37-year-old woman, arrived at the scene and noticed that the padlocks on the door had been forced open, so she notified the police of the Criminal Investigation Division of Huancayo (DIVINCRI).

There, during the investigation, they found that security cameras near the business recorded the actions of the flawed criminals who took an hour to enter.

“This started at 2:30 in the morning when they first tried to open the doors. Failing to do so, they withdrew and returned a few minutes later.with multiple tools to break locks. A second attempt that didn’t work either“, local media reported.

Around 3:30, finally They entered with a tricycle as a cargo vehicle to bring 220 right shoesworth almost 14,000 dollars (50,000 Peruvian soles), after having rummaged through the countless boxes of recognized brands that found themselves at their mercy.

With loot in hand, they fled. Meanwhile, the carabinieri have gathered evidence and hope, sources close to the case have indicated, that since they cannot sell the stolen goods because they are “incomplete”, they would still have possession of it in the city.
