Suddenly Lucia ordered the umbrellas to be put away. He turned and warned Francisco and Jacinta: “It’s coming, I saw the glow.” The rain suddenly stopped and the sky totally clarified.

When the Virgin appeared, resplendent, in the sky, he spoke directly to Luciasays José María Zavala in “Fatima’s Best Kept Secret.”

“Tell them to build a chapel here in my honor; that I am Your Lady of the Rosary; to continue praying the Rosary every day. The war is about to end and the soldiers will soon be returning to their homes”he said announcing, also, the end of the first war.

Then the Sun began to rotate on itself, as if it were a wheel of fire, as it spread out on all sides multicolored flashes.

A few minutes later he stopped to resume his amazing dance Almost immediately, as if it were about to break away from the sky and fall on the crowd.

Amazed and frightened, there were many who they fell to their knees pray or yell at the top of their lungs.

In that place, a chapel was built in 1920. It is currently the famous Sanctuary that routinely receives millions of visitors from all over the world.

The events were officially accepted as a miracle by the Catholic Church on October 13, 1930when Bishop José da Silva declared it “worthy of faith” and allowed its worship Our Lady of Fatima.
