A dangerous escalation of Britain and NATO about Ukraine and the Russian invasion of its territory. Britain, its Foreign Minister Liz Truss, and Defense Secretary Ben Wallace have doubled down on Ukraine, saying “it should be liberated,” along with Crimea.
NATO announced that will receive “with open arms” in Sweden and Finland if they want to be part, one of the “red lines” for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Defense Secretary Ben Wallace echoed the opinion of Foreign Minister Liz Truss, who announced at the traditional lunch at Mansion House, the home of the mayor of the City of London, that Russian forces they should be expelled from “the whole of Ukraine”.
“Ukraine must be liberated” the chancellor declared in his speech and suggested that “This should include Crimea.”

Truss believes the war in Ukraine could last “up to five years, or even a decade. ” He is afraid of President Putin may use weapons of mass destruction to break the deadlock. “he was accused of being a “rude operator” and warned that it could invade other countries, including Georgia and Moldova.
He called on Western countries to help expel Russian troops from Ukraine. Truss said that if Putin succeeds in the territorial victories, he can impose “countless sufferings throughout Europe.”
“Russia must leave Ukraine”
Asked by Sky News on Thursday if the chancellor was referring to Crimea, which was invaded and annexed by Russia in 2014, Defense Secretary Ben Wallace replied: “Well, the international community believes that Russia must leave Ukraine“.

“The international community has condemned Russia for its invasion of Crimea, which fit was illegal in 2014. His invasion of Donetsk, recognizing that it was illegal, was something strange. “We don’t recognize this and we’ve always said that Russia should leave the sovereign territory. So that hasn’t changed,” the defense secretary said.
Emphasizing “to what extent” the West will support Ukraine in expelling Russian forces, Wallace added that there a “far to travel”before Ukraine had a chance to regain control of Crimea.
“It’s still a long way before Ukraine can enter Crimea,” Wallace told Sky News. “I think what I can definitely say is that we support the sovereign integrity of Ukraine. We did it all the time. That, of course, includes Crimea, ”he explains.
“But first, let’s bring russia out where it is today in their plans of aggression. Let us help Ukraine resolve and remember that the Minsk agreement, which Russia has usually torn apart, is about trying to resolve the two occupied territories.
“But the key is to continue to support the sovereign integrity of Ukraine and their ability to defend themselves”, Said Ben Wallace, defense secretary and former British soldier.

Both Truss and Wallace’s comments indicate that the UK government believes Russian forces should leave not only the territory occupied since the current invasion in late February, but also the areas they previously occupied and combined, including the Crimea and parts of the eastern region of the Donbas.
Criticism of China
In his speech on Wednesday night, the Foreign Minister also criticized China for his silence on the war in Ukraine. He warned the Chinese government that “follow the rules”.
China voted to keep Russia a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council last month. He had previously avoided voting in the Security Council condemning the attack at the start of the fighting.
“China is not waterproof. They will not continue to grow if they do not follow the rules,” Chancellor Truss warned. “China needs to trade with the G7. We represent almost half of the global economy. And we have options. ”Warned the officer, that one of the hawks of Boris Johnson’s government.
“We have shown Russia the kind of sanctions we are willing to take when international standards are violated,” he warned.
Addressing the UK’s allies at the annual keynote foreign policy statement, the British Foreign Secretary also declared that the war in Ukraine “it is a war of all because Ukraine’s success is a strategic necessity for all of us.
In Ukraine a British fighter was killed and another is missing. The British government has yet to recognize nothing.
