229 hostages in Gaza… “50 killed in ‘Lee’ military bombing”

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas’ Islamic Resistance Movement, announced on the 28th (local time) that it was ready to hold talks with Israel to resolve the hostage issue.

Hamas’ military spokesman Abu Obaida said in a speech on Al-Aqsa TV that day, “If Israel wants to solve the (hostage) problem once and for all, we are ready for that. “If they want to proceed with the hostage release process by dividing it into several rounds of talks, we are ready for that as well,” foreign media reported.

He claimed that he had attempted to “contact” several times to resolve the hostage issue, but that Israel had not shown “serious interest.”

They also emphasized that their only condition for Israel’s release of hostages was the release of all Palestinian prisoners and prisoners.

Regarding reports that negotiations for the release of hostages were possible, Daniel Hagari, spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), dismissed in a statement on the 27th, “Such reports are terrorist attacks of psychological warfare adopted by Hamas.” The IDF claimed that most of the 229 hostages being held in Gaza were civilians.

Meanwhile, the Hamas military announced on the 27th that at least 50 hostages were killed by Israeli bombing. Four of the hostages were released by Hamas.

On October 7, Hamas forces fired thousands of rockets into Israel and then launched a surprise attack on villages along the border with the Gaza Strip, killing at least 1,400 Israelis and taking hostages to the Gaza Strip.

Afterwards, Israel launched a retaliatory war and continued airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, killing over 7,700 residents.

The Israeli military orders Gaza residents to evacuate to the south, and its position is that it is okay to kill those who remain because they are all Hamas.

However, in reality, Israel’s all-out war on the ground began in a situation where many people, including the sick and elderly, were unable to evacuate or were staying in their homes because they had nowhere to go. The number of people who have given up on evacuation is increasing.

Prime Minister Netanyahu held a press conference in Tel Aviv on this day and announced that “the war has entered its second phase” and that all firepower is being concentrated, raising concerns about additional mass killings of civilians.
