There is also a possibility that he may have murdered his father, who died before committing the crime.

It was revealed that David Kozak (24), who went on a shooting rampage at a university in Prague, the Czech capital, killing 14 people, had hinted at the crime on social networking services (SNS) before committing the crime.

According to the Telegraph on the 21st (local time), before the crime, Kozak wrote on social media, “This will be a diary about my life before the shooting.”

“I want to shoot a gun at school and kill myself,” he said. “I always wanted to kill. “I thought I would become a crazy person from now on,” he wrote.

In addition, he indirectly mentioned and praised the school shooting murder incident that occurred in Russia in 2021. At the same time, he also explained that he realized that mass murder was much more efficient than serial murder.

“He helped me so much,” he said of another Russian school shooter. “It was like he came from heaven to help me at the right time.” The suspect in the case shot another student with his father’s shotgun, killing and injuring another student, and then took his own life.

As this post, posted before the crime, became known, the investigation is underway, focusing on the possibility that Kozak may have planned this crime in advance. It is said that the post, which was in a private state, was changed to public before the crime was committed.

Czech investigative authorities investigating the case determined that the suspect had no ties to an international terrorist organization. The suspect received a bachelor’s degree in history and European studies and was pursuing a master’s degree in Polish history.

Suspect Kozak opened fire at Charles University in Prague that day, leaving 14 dead and 25 injured. Czech police reported that at least 10 of the injured were in critical condition. After causing the incident, Kozak committed suicide after shooting himself in a confrontation with the police.

His father was found dead before the shooting, and police believe this may have been a crime committed with Kozak.

When this tragedy occurred, politicians, including the Czech Prime Minister and President, expressed their condolences and decided to declare the 23rd as a national day of mourning.
