According to this statement quoted by Xinhua News Agency, Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs attacked Pakistan’s attack through its dedicated website, saying, “It is an act of crossing the red line that threatens homeland security and the safety of the people,” and declared the two countries’ intergovernmental friendship as neighbors. and condemned it as an act that destroyed the brotherhood of the people.

Pakistan carried out a drone bombing on an Iranian village in Saravan County that day, describing it as an attack targeting a “terrorists’ hideout.”

In this regard, Iran strongly demanded that the Pakistani government keep the promise agreed upon between the two countries to “prevent the establishment of a base for terrorist groups or the stationing of armed forces in the country.”

Pakistan’s attack was a retaliatory airstrike after the Iranian military bombed “terrorist strongholds” in Pakistan’s Baluchis province on the 16th, killing two Pakistani children.

The Iranian government claimed that the airstrike on the 16th was a surprise operation on Iranian territory with the purpose of eliminating terrorists who were preparing to attack again, and criticized Pakistan for neglecting the area.

Iran emphasized that it will not tolerate forces and terrorist units trying to ruin friendly relations with Pakistan, especially in a situation where Muslims around the world regard Israel’s genocidal campaign against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip as its greatest challenge.

Alireza Marhamati, deputy governor for security and justice in Iran’s Sistan-Balochistan province, said in a statement on the 18th that three Pakistani drones bombed a residential area in a border village there, killing 10 Pakistanis and destroying four houses. It has been said that it has been done.

Regarding this, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Pakistani ambassador to Tehran on the 18th and delivered the Iranian government’s official protest against Pakistan’s military action.
