After a long wait, The blue exorcist come back with one third season to the screen. During the Jump Festa 2024 event, the new trailer was presented, which revealed the continuity of the anime whose second season ended seven years ago.
Study VOLN is responsible for the production of the new season: Shimane’s Illuminati Saga. Daisuke Yoshida directs the film together with Toshiya Ono, who supervises the screenplay. On the other hand, Yurie Oohigashi joined as character designer, and Kohta Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Sawano as soundtrack.
For this third season, the anime returns to adapt the story of volumes 10 to 15 from the manga Kazue Kato. On this occasion, new characters will be introduced in the plot of Rin, the young man who discovers that he is the son of the Devil and decides to enter a school of exorcists to face him.
