Tips for Planting Spinach

The first step to get started vegetable spinach seeds is to let them macerate for a couple of hours to activate them and germinate in the best way. Although this vegetable can be planted at any time of the year, the ideal time to do so is late February and early March.

Gardening experts recommend using a seedbed before planting it in a pot. When it has grown by about 20 centimeters you can transfer it to a pot so that the roots have more space to grow.

However, you can also simply plant it in the ground where you want it to stay permanently or in a pot. If you choose the second alternative, you just need to make sure that it has good drainage and for this you can place stones at the base.

How do you plant spinach seeds?

To encourage growth, ideally before planting the seeds fertilize the soil with organic fertilizers that can be prepared at home.

Once the soil and planting site are prepared, it will be time to sow. To do this, you need to make small grooves, a maximum of 2 centimeters deep and 25 centimeters apart from each other.
