In recent days, a scene occurred in real life that could perfectly be the beginning of a comedy film. Or one in the style of The Duplicate Man. Two strangers met at an airport and realized they had a lot in common. There was even his first and last name!
Just in case it is worth making a clarification: Marco Garland and Marco Garland I’m not the same person. One is 58 and a bus driver in Wiltshire, England; The other is 62 and a builder in Bristol, also in that country.
The meeting, which sparked a friendship, occurred on March 2 before and during a flight from London to Bangkok, Thailand, according to the South West News Service.
How it all began
It all started with a stumble.
TO Mark the driver -as we will call him from now on- they didn’t want to let him on the plane because presumably he was already registered among the passengers.
Mark waited at the gate counter for 40 minutes while airport staff attempted to resolve the issue, which was ultimately resolved when the two Marks physically met.
What had happened was that the employee to record he had not cross-referenced Mark Chauffeur’s booking number and instead registered Mark Constructor.
The Spider-Man meme
“I was surprised at how strange it was,” Mark Chofer said of seeing his “clone”; “He It was crazy, I had never seen anything like it,” said Mark Constructor.
For the latter, Mark Chofer looked “better” than him, even though both are bald, have similar features and are practically the same height.
After the first visual impact, the first showed his passport, which provoked laughter from the second, who did the same, generating a very bizarre situation full of cross-jokes.
But the coincidences don’t end there..
More games
When the two Marks went to sit on the plane, they noticed that their seats were next to each other. They had chosen the same destination and would stay there for almost the same amount of time. One three weeks; the other, four.
On the plane they talked incessantly and continued to discover unlikely coincidences: the two live 15 minutes apart and Mark Constructor told him that at one point he was traveling on the bus driven by Mark Chofer.
But there’s more: they both had four children and have several acquaintances in common.
A solid friendship?
Friendship is in the air.
During the flight they got along so well that one even ended up taking “a nap on the shoulder” of the other.
“I made a friend for life”Mark Constructor had predicted. “He made me happy,” said the other, adding: “He is like me, I have a character and I love annoying people, we are the same.”
The two met to have a beer together in Thailand and, most likely, to meet again for a fee.
