Starring Johnny Depp and Amber Heard from April 11 is the test of the year. A trial that has resulted from countless fights and accusations, and with each new testimony it becomes more difficult. In this case, the data provider was as powerful as the forensic psychologist Dawn Hughes.

Depp and Heard were married from 2012 to 2016. In the middle they got married and soon divorced on bad terms. Their separation became official in 2017.

He, after seeking divorce from the actor in 2016, denounced him for physical and verbal abuse and sought a restraining order against him. In 2018, he reaffirmed it in an article in the Washington Post (without mentioning Johnny) and Depp was furious.

He has always denied, he was also accused of domestic abuse and charged him and the newspaper The Sun with 50 million dollars for defamation. In response, Heard challenged him by 100.

Since the early days of April – not to mention everything said in recent years – the information hasn’t stopped with the release of Fairfax, Virginia, showing the toxicity of the relationship between the artists. And it will continue like this.

strong revelation

After more than ten days of hearing speeches from witnesses on Depp’s side, on Tuesday Heard defended himself for the first time. And his first witness was the forensic psychologist Dawn Hugheswho refuted the statements of his colleague Shannon Curry-Depp’s specialist advocate – and ensured, among other things, that the actress was suffering from post -traumatic stress after her stormy relationship with Johnny.

Hughes said that while Heard was not his client, he examined her for 29 hours and determined the woman was a victim of domestic abuse. To prove this, he gave examples.

The psychologist said Amber revealed to her that her ex -husband pushed her, hit her and even kicked her in the back while she was under “influences”.

But, perhaps, his most revealing statements have to do with the alleged sexual violence that Depp would have committed against Heard.

“That was documented from the very beginning … when Mr. Depp is drunk or on drugs. He threw her on the bed, took off her nightgown and tried to have sex with her, “Hughes began on the subject.

Based on Heard’s confession, Hughes said Depp allegedly put Amber on a “cavity search,” referring to a day when the actor would have searched the inside of Heard’s genitals to see if he could find cocaine he believed he hides it from him.

And he added that Johnny, after an argument, had penetrated the actress ’body with a bottle and he was worried all the time that the container might break and break him inside. There were “moments of dominance, moments of him trying to control her,” Hughes said.

Before, a discussion

Before all this happened, Amber’s lawyers questioned the judge Penney Azcarate to dismiss the case on the grounds that Depp had not substantiated his statements. They did it almost as a formality, because it is common in this type of litigation that the lawyer is “proved” and he says “No”.

Azcarate refused the request, but things didn’t stop there. Amber’s attorneys’ request caused Depp’s attorneys to react and argue otherwise. Then there was a fairly violent discussion that led one of Depp’s lawyers to raise his voice and call Heard “abusive”.

Amber’s lawyer, Benjamin Rotterborn, said that if the court agreed that Depp abused Heard “at least once, he won, that’s that simple.” For him, “overwhelming and indisputable” is the evidence that the actor physically and verbally abused his ex -wife.
