Sand Land: when does Akira Toriyama’s anime debut, what time and where to watch it

Land of sand is one of Akira Toriyama’s most popular works, published in Shonen Jump magazine in 2000. This manga published more than twenty years ago had its anime adaptation for the first time last summer, with the premiere of its film Land of sand (2023).

Now, the mangaka’s legacy continues with the premiere of one of his latest projects Land of Sand: The Series. The series was directed by Toshihisa Yokoshima and Hiroshi Koujina for the platform Disney+with the screenplay by Hayashi Mori and music by Yûgo Kanno.

The series will consist of 13 chaptersof which the top seven will be out this week as they will face all the events of the film. Plus, they added them new additional content to offer a new proposal that attracts enthusiasts. The next six chapters will focus on a new story arc.

The studio in charge of producing the series has confirmed the release date of the first seven episodes of Sand Land: The Series. Will this be it? Wednesday 20 Marchfrom the platform Disney+.

Starting next Wednesday 27th new weekly episode. This new episode inspired by the work of Akira Toriyama is composed of 13 chapters in total, so it would end in the first days of May.

The makers also confirmed the theme of opening, Water carrier starring Kroi, and that of closure, Guide my idea performed by Tempalay.

Sand Land: where to watch Akira Toriyama’s new series

In Latin American countries or Spain, the Sand Land series will premiere Disney Plus. In the case of the United States, licensing is the company’s responsibility Hulu.
