A man walked into a Quicktrips store in Oregon, USA, and He was saved by five seconds from being cut in half by a saw blade.. The video of the moment, taken by local security cameras, is truly shocking.
Shane Reimche Only when he entered the room did he realize that a 1.2 meter diameter blade was advancing madly towards him at a deadly speed.
“I was walking into the store, I put my hand on the door and I heard a loud bang and screaming here in the corner,” Reimche told KEZI.
The tool hit the Quicktrips wall and became lodged inside, shaking the entire site and causing a loud bang.
“I don’t think I would have survived that thing touching me.. I need a beer. I’m still shocked. It’s 9.00. “I won’t work today,” the man said honestly.
Inside the store, Reimche saw a cloud of smoke and a worker fall into a ditch. He spotted the sword approaching at full speed and consequently ran to the other side of the counter.
“My God, I cried all night. It was petrifying. I was shaking in the store. It took me a while before I could speak. That thing was huge. “You can see the hole in the wall,” said the lucky man, adding: “Obviously it wasn’t my timebut it was probably the closest thing to death I’ve ever seen.”
What happened?
According to KEZI, the saw blade broke off on a company construction site Northwest Natural Gas in collaboration with Brix Paving Northwest and Integrity Traffic.
A witness told the media that the blade may have come loose from a bolt or that it may simply have been an error by an operator repairing a gas valve.
The gas company blamed the incident on contractors.
