The Canadian amateur photographer Steve Biro He managed to achieve something practically impossible: portray an eagle in full flight over a lake. The perfect photo went viral and went around the world.
He white-headed eagle, also known as the American eagle or bald eagle, was caught looking at the camera. The image was created in a Bird sanctuary in Ontario, Canada.
Biro then posted it on a Facebook group for photographers. And from there the viralization was unstoppable. The image was captured in early May.
“The year before the water was quite choppy. I realized that I wasn’t in the best position to get the image I was really hoping for. “This time I sat right next to the water and understood,” the photographer told CBC News.
“I felt the breeze from the wing when it flew past me. The other people were scared when it approached me. It was really very exciting,” he confessed.
“The way they hunt, the way they interact. Sometimes you see them doing things. They are playful like children. It’s amazing how we can see human characteristics in birds and animals in general.”
