After several artists opposed the government’s cuts to culture Javier Milei (53), who Now Carlos Belloso (60) has given his opinion on the matter. In an interview, the actor suggested doing a “political process” to the President so that he does not finish his mandate and has dealt with his government “cruel, inhumane, ineffective and unhinged.”
In dialogue with the program Very Monday from Radio Con Vos (89.9), Belloso responds on how he sees the situation of culture today and attacks the Government. “The sector is in a very dangerous situation. I am very critical of this government, I didn’t vote for it and My deepest wish is that he leaves tomorrow. He is not in his right mind, he is inoperative, he does everything backwards. There is no point on which we can agree,” he observed.
“Everything related to aid for culture is necessary. That’s why what he’s doing is very dangerous and it’s an injustice. Not only does it suit pensioners and tariffs, but it is attacking the sovereignty and hunger of the people. We should not give this government another minute, this is cruel, inhumane, ineffective and out of my mind,” Carlos threw at Milei.
While agreeing with his point of view, the program host, Pablo Winokur, explained that “56% of people voted for him and voted for him for this.” Then Belloso proposed strange measures against the president: “Yes, but there are mechanisms, there is the political process, There is an indefinite strike by the unions, there are demonstrations. Look at how they repress them, because they don’t want the democratic mechanisms that the people have to complain, make themselves heard and petition the authorities. This government does not negotiate”.
“That 56% is a very lying percentage because it is a vote. 70% of voters voted; 56% must be added to this percentage, which, in summary, would be much lower. There was a start of forty-odd percent, and the progress of these inhumane measures makes one think that this government must go, so it is a much lower percentage, ”he added.
Belloso said he believes that the people who voted for Milei and continue to support his ideas, even if “it’s not enough for them at all” is “because they have the hope that the situation will evolve, that inflation will go down”. “But one of the things was inflation, not rising food prices, that there was a 118% devaluation,” he continued.
And he assured again: “Three or four of the measures taken are enough to impeach him and remove him from power.. The percentage of people who want him in power will think that, democratically, they have to lower it.”
Winokur asked him if there was a possibility that, despite their ideological differences, he could find a way to accept Milei finishing his term. To which the actor flatly refused: “If we think about the future, by the end of the year, sovereignty will be wasted. “Behave as he did with Cameron and let the Argentine Sea be invaded again.”
“The lack of oncology drugs, that there are cases of death. They look at a form and not at people. E He didn’t even attack inflation, we have the same numbers as Massa. “If you send all the numbers to hyperinflation and then lower them to the same numbers as the previous government, what change do you get?” he asked.
“You see him lie all the time. He says “nobody talked aboutdollarization” and his campaign was supported bydollarization. And thank goodness he can’t do it because it would be the loss of the country, the flag, our children, our families. We sell ourselves to the highest bidder. AND It will be late if we let him finish his term.. Let us remember that Macri spent four years and decimated the economy, taking on an unpayable debt,” Belloso added.
And he added: “I don’t know a more cowardly person than this government. Because it’s not just Milei and the vice president, there’s Caputo, Sturzenegger, Bullrich. Truly despicable people who fix pensioners and those who have less.” “Someone with courage and audacity would take from those who have more for those who have less.”
Carlos Belloso’s claim to his veteran status as a former Malvinas fighter
In another part of the interview, the topic of tribute to the veterans of the Falkland Islands war for this April 2, a conflict in which Carlos participated. So, the actor took the opportunity to do so his claim not to be recognized as a former combatant.
“When the armed conflict broke out over the Malvinas Islands, I was on the continent, at the Río Gallegos naval base which provides air protection to the airport. Once the war was over, to distribute fewer pensions, they reduced the operations center and ignored all the air bases on the sea coast. AND They ignored me as a war veteran“He explained.
Furthermore, Belloso said that in his situation there are 9,500 soldiers. “There are recognized veterans who recognize me, but others who tell me ‘you weren’t in the Islands.’ Do you think a former combatant should have been in the Islands, yes or yes? Most of the veterans were entrusted to General Belgrano, who was not in the islands. And they tell me ‘but you didn’t fight with an Englishman’, but yes, I was with an aerial cannon,” he added.
“By investigating we discovered that many comrades had clashes with the English on the continent. The danger was on all fronts. Luckily I came back alive. So I wonder, Did I have to be dead again for them to recognize me? On the maritime coast, of the 659 victims, 17 died in naval air bases, not counting some aeronautical pilots who died on the continent. “This is an injustice,” the actor added.
And he closed: “Our request was in all governments. And only one vice president, with whom I do not agree at all because she is a denier, recognizes us, is an incredible contradiction. But Obviously I won’t go to any tributes he does.
