Aimee Harris, a woman from the city of Palm Beach, Florida, United States, was sentenced this Tuesday to the death penalty one month in prison and three others under house arrest to have Ashley’s diary stolenTHE Daughter the youngest American president, Joe Biden.
In 2020, Harris stole the private publication along with other items belonging to Biden’s daughter from a friend’s house in Delray Beach, in the southern state of the United States. Subsequently sold it to Project Veritasan American far-right activist group linked to the Republican Party, known for making hidden camera recordings that targeted media, labor organizations and Democratic politicians.
After being arrested, Harris tearfully apologized for allowing the newspaper to be sold and he pleaded guilty to a conspiracy chargeadmitting that he had received 20 thousand of the 40 thousand dollars that Project Veritas paid for Ashley’s belongings.
