Before he died, he sent a photo of his killer: the family found him and killed him

A 16-year-old woman was abused and murdered in Colombia. The girl was able to inform her family via WhatsApp that someone was following her. He was even able to send a picture of the man.

The body of Karina Blanco Durán was found in the river Cáchira, in Norte de Santander. From the photo she sent before she died, the girl’s relatives identified the rapist. They found him and brutally killed him.

Carlos Martínez, local police chief, said police were able to arrest the abuser of the young woman, but a town of neighbors caught her and killed her. “The community attacked the police who were transferring him and caused fatal injury to the detainee,” Martínez described.

Karina Blanco Durán wants to be “a great psychologist” to help her mother and be able to give him a home. It’s only been a year since she entered college to start her dreams coming true. However, in the early hours of Tuesday, Karina saw that her goal was cut short when she saw a man following her as she walked around 5:30 a.m. in the village of La Vega, in Cáchira.

From his cell phone, he sent a picture of the chaser. After that, both their relatives and neighbors went out in search of the minor.

The 16-year-old girl left her home in the village of “La Sardina” early to attend her school in Barrio Nuevo. As every day, Karina had to walk about 50 minutes down the path where there was a river and enough plants, to reach the main road where he waited for the bus to take him to school.

A few hours later, Karina was found dead and with signs of sexual abuse and her body was thrown into the river. Commander Carlos Martínez reported that the adolescentHe died after being attacked by a 37-year-old man of Venezuelan nationality.

Speaking to Colombian news program Noticias Caracol, Cáchira mayor Javier Pabón, insisted that the suspected abuser had thrown the minor’s remains into the river. In addition, he indicated that he harassed her and eventually killed her.

Local police arrested the alleged aggressor and as they were taking him to the police station, they were intercepted by a group of Karina’s relatives and neighbors who delivered the accused.

There they beat the young man, who died from a fatal wound inflicted by a relative of the attacked girl.

Karina’s father, César Blanco, said his daughter was a very mature and focused young woman who knew what she wanted. She pointed out that Karina told some friends that there was a man chasing her for several days, she told local media bluradio.
