WHO head, visiting Kiev, said that the organization stands by Ukraine

During a visit to Kiev on Saturday, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director-general of the World Health Organization (WHO), told Ukrainians that the organization supports them in their conflict with Russia and urged Moscow to end the war in the country.

“My message to the Ukrainian people is this,” he said in a speech from the Ukrainian government’s media center in the capital. “WHO is with you”

WHO Emergency Director Mike Ryan said at the same press conference that WHO has documented 200 attacks on healthcare facilities in Ukraine and will forward its findings to those who can assess whether a crime has been committed.
