Washington re -launched WWII law to arm Ukraine

The president of America presented this law as a another important tool to support the government of Ukraine and the citizens of Ukraine in their fight to defend their country and their democracy against brutal war of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Ukraine Defense Lend-Lease Act of 2022 (Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act of 2022) is a program similar to the one first implemented by the United States in the spring of 1941 to provide friendly nations with war material without directly interfering in the fighting. The Soviet regime was one of the beneficiaries of the program.

In its current version, the law in this instance will make it possible to re -issue Ukraine quickly while avoiding procedural hurdles.
