Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today asked NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) allies to respect and support their stance against Finland and Sweden joining this military organisation.
The Turkish president accuses the two Scandinavian countries of accepting members of the PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party), which is considered a terrorist organization by Ankara, the United States and the European Union.
