Canadian mining company Trevali Mining has announced that the remains of four workers missing since flooding last month at its Perkoa mine in Burkina Faso have been found.

Four more workers are still missing. The Vancouver -based mining company said search teams will continue to work tirelessly to find them.
Trevali said last week that rescuers reached a shelter 570 meters underground but found no one inside.

There has been no communication with the missing workers since the zinc mine was flooded after heavy rains in the area on April 16.
The company said it was cooperating with authorities to investigate the cause of the flooding.
