A councilor from the Mariupol City Council reported that today about 70 bodies were found in an old factory in the city.
According to the consultant, the bodies were buried under the rubble of the site after a bombing by Russian forces.
“People remained in the rubble of the building after the bombing. The bodies were sealed with plastic bags and will be buried in a mass grave in the village of Stary Krym,” he said.
Earlier this week, nearly 200 bodies were found in the rubble of a bunker under a collapsed building in Mariupol, Ukraine. In addition, the city council member noted that several bodies were crammed into a makeshift morgue near a metro station in the city by the Russian military.
The assistant added that a 12-year-old boy died yesterday (26), when a bullet left on the street near a school in the Kalmiusky district of Mariupol exploded.
“Russian weapons continue to kill children in Mariupol even after active operations,” the Ukrainian news agency Unian reported.
