Tandra Bowser-Williamsa 49-year-old captain of the New York City Department of Correction, He died after an alleged fake doctor performed surgery on his buttocks in the Dominican Republic.

According to the victim’s husband, Curtis-WilliamsTandra suffered a stroke a few days after traveling to Santo Domingo to receive fat transfer surgery on May 13.

According to the New York Daily News, the person who operated on the Rikers Island woman was a Brazilian doctor who had already done so. he was accused in March 2011 of operating without a medical license and of fraud and conspiracy.

The Daily News also reported that the doctor on his first allegations reached an agreement with prosecutors not to go to jail. He was then fined $ 5,000 and sentenced to pay $ 23,055 in compensation and complete 250 hours of community service in the Dominican Republic.

Later, when he received Bowser-Williams, it was because he opened a plant in the Dominican Republic called International Center for Advanced Plastic Surgery.

Curtis learned of his wife’s problems when he received a call from a nurse at another clinic the day after the operation. Bowser, who had been hospitalized a kilometer and a half from the Brazilian’s center, couldn’t stand her husband’s arrival to see her.

The Brazilian doctor’s clinic paid the bill for Williams’ trip to the Dominican Republic, as well as other costs related to his wife’s death, including payment to the local funeral home. As the newspaper stated, Bowser-Williams’ death does not appear to be investigated yet.

A recent case in Argentina
