One day there was a man named Elvis Summers he met Irene after she knocked on her door to ask if it had cans or recyclables that he could redeem for money.
Elvis grew up with his 60 -year -old homeless neighbor and was saddened to learn that he couldn’t even sleep properly.

Elvis saw on the Internet that people were building small houses all over the country. Since he has a background in construction, he decided to try to build one for himself.

After 10 years living in the open, Irene finally got a temporary roof: Elvis built him a small house on wheels.

“I feel good,” McGee said. “You can’t explain how I feel. I’m on my way to a different life. I want to have my own house and all that. He’s my guardian angel,” she said excitedly.
“When I started talking to other homeless people, I started to understand their stories and they started asking me if I could build them houses as well,” Summers said. “I know it’s just a step. The homeless are a problem and I wish I could have built him a bigger house with a shower and toilet.”
