The multiple indignation that took place this Wednesday in the heart of Berlin moved everyone. The tragic balance left by the accident was one teacher dead and 14 injured children.
In the last few hours, investigators have revealed that the perpetrator of the indignation is just that a man suffering from mental imbalance and that he acted intentionally.
This was reported on Thursday by the mayor of the German capital, Franziska Giffey, who indicated that the act was caused by a person “with a severe mental disability”.
He also indicated that investigators are still trying to decipher the author’s “confusing statements”. is approx a 29-year-old German of Armenian descent who lives in Berlin, the German agency DPA reported.

Then he drove another 200 meters, got off the road again and crashed into the window of a perfumery chain. A company employee confirmed that there were no injuries on the premises.
The driver of the private vehicle was initially detained by passersby until authorities arrived, police spokesman ThiloCablitz said.
Giffey commented that it was a “dark day in Berlin history”.
For his part, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz wrote on Twitter: “I am deeply saddened by this horrible crime.”

“The trip of a school group from Hesse to Berlin ended in a nightmare. Our thoughts are with the relatives of the dead and wounded, including many children. I wish them a speedy recovery,” he added.
