According to the same data, another 2.3 million crossings were registered into the country.

According to the UN, 90 percent of those fleeing abroad are women and children, while men between the ages of 18 and 60 are eligible for military service and cannot leave the country.

In total, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) estimates that more than eight million people are displaced within the region. More than half of those who left Ukraine went to neighboring Poland, where 3.8 million people came.
