A Missouri woman became a millionaire after she reported contracting a sexually transmitted disease (STD) after having sex with her ex in the car they had when they were a couple. How come?

The answer is simple: basically because your insurer paid you for contracting HPV (HPV) in the vehiclewhich was a 2014 Hyundai Genesis.

The woman, who had been fighting since February 2021 to win the case, managed to convince a court to decide that her insurance company should have paid her around. 5 million dollars.

His argument was clear: he notified the General Insurance Company (GEICO) that he wanted to get an economic cut for contracting HPV in the vehicle he had insured. The woman said her ex infected her despite knowing she had the conditionYahoo reported.

First, the insurance company rejected the agreement and the case was sent to arbitration, where what happened was assessed.

There they determined that the couple slept in the Hyundai and that they “directly caused, or contributed directly to” the infection. In this way he was held responsible for not disclosing that he had the sexually transmitted disease and the woman will receive $ 5 million in damages, which will be compensated by GEICO.

The insurance company tried to persuade them to refuse financial compensation, but there were no cases, their claims were denied.

And not only. According to The Sun, a three-judge jury confirmed that the lower court made no mistake in dismissing the company’s motion.
