Crimea’s governor says Ukrainian forces attacked oil rigs off the peninsula, injuring at least three people.

According to Governor Sergei Aksionov, installed by Russia after the annexation of Crimea in 2014, 12 people were on the platforms at the time of the strike. Three were injured, five were rescued and the search continues for the others with the participation of patrol ships and air assets.

Ukrainian MP Oleksii Honcharenko claims on Telegram that the strike occurred near the Boyko towers, which slightly hampered Russian gas production in the Ukrainian Black Sea.
