Lois Walker, a 37-year-old British woman, gave birth to her son by caesarean section and at the same time doctors found a terminal cancer stage 4 in the ovaries, lymph nodes and part of the abdomen. But the saddest thing about him is that she expressed her pain 12 months before giving birth.
She had a stomach ache in June 2020 and was prescribed anxiety medications, asked to avoid dairy and they told him he might have irritable bowel syndrome. Later, his doctor offered him drugs for a suspected “hypochondria”.
Walker herself asked if it couldn’t be cancer, since she had suffered from the same skin disease, but her doctor told her it was “getting older” and that his body “no longer functioned well”.
