China, on the other hand, adopted a similar stance to Brazil, insisting that signs of crime should be investigated and only then can responsibilities be determined.

During the meeting, the Russian government denied any guilt and said it had no evidence of Putin’s involvement in Bucha, further warning of alleged manipulation of facts. According to Moscow, the troop withdrawal took place on March 30 as a way to send a “message of goodwill” to peace talks and insisted local officials never made any reference to the deaths.
