Zelensky tells G7 war in Ukraine must end by winter

Two European Union diplomats told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that he wants the leaders of the group of seven major industrial democracies to end Russia’s war in Ukraine by the end of the year, before winter begins in the Northern Hemisphere.

On Monday, the second day of the three-day G7 summit in southern Germany, Zelenskiy addressed the leaders of the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States via video link.
