Shooting and panic in a shopping center in Denmark: several injured

Dozens of people were injured this Sunday in Denmark during a shoot in one of the shopping malls most important in Copenhagen. There are an inmate.

The incident occurred shortly after 6pm. shopping fields which is located in the district of Amager, located between the city center and the airport of the capital.

It was the Danish police who, a few minutes later, reported the incident in a post published on their Twitter account. In this they assured that an important operation had already been deployed in the vicinity of the place to find the person responsible for the shooting and assist the victims.

“We are on the spot, shots have been fired and several people were reached“, they stressed without giving details on the situation in which those who were hit by the bullets find themselves.

A short time later, they reported that they did arrested a person suspected of starting the shooting at the mall. However, they did not specify their characteristics.

“One person has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting at Fields. At present, we are unable to release any further information on his identity,” the local military said in a tweet.

The injured were quickly transferred to nearby hospitals with several ambulances arriving at the scene along with patrol cars. The firefighters have also arrived in the area.

In this sense, the agents asked those who were still in the building to stay inside the premises until they arrived to look for them.

According to local media, there were more than 100 people in the scene at the time of the shooting and, when the shooting began to be heard, many of them took refuge in the premises while others ran in despair.

This is why many people gathered in the vicinity of the place where they began to call both relatives and the police.
