Germany could end Russian oil imports this year, Chancellor Olaf Scholz said on Friday, adding that it will take longer for Europe’s largest economy to get rid of Russian gas.

Speaking at a press conference with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in London, Scholz said that Germany will continue to send weapons to Ukraine to fight the Russian occupation.
