Interestingly, one day, while on vacation in Germany, Pifferi showed concern for his daughter. He had left the child in the care of her mother and, learning that Diana had been infected in the urinary tract, he had returned from the other country and went to the hospital to help her.

The terrible case occurred on January 8 in Bolivia. After several weeks of investigation, the local police uncovered a terrible truth: The young woman was raped by her own father Tomás Sambrana, 44, and from that abuse the abandoned child was born.
According to the police, the father of the young mother was the one who forced the daughter to abandon the newborn. However, he later confessed to raping her daughter and that because of her sexual harassment he got her pregnant, said Doris Leaños, director of the Children’s Ombudsman of Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
The official assured that the attacker apologized to his daughter before knowing she was pregnant. Later, after finding out, the child’s father did everything possible to persuade her to have an abortion. He forced the teenager to take pills and herbal teas, but the child managed to survive.
He added that “the assailant was intoxicated at the time of the act”.
