The incident took place at a large property hosting a company event in the central city of Karmi Yosef, 40km southeast of Tel Aviv.
The victim was identified as a 32-year-old company employee.
The couple, who own the venue, both in their 60s, were arrested on suspicion of causing the death by negligence.
In the mobile phone footage of the incident, people wearing swimsuits watch the scene in shock in and around the nearly empty pool. The water flowing into a large hole carried the inflatable objects with it.

According to local media reports, the victim Klil Kimhi was pulled into the 13-metre-deep hole. Rescuers took 4 hours to find the body.
A second man also fell into the hole, but managed to get out, only slightly injured.
One of those present told Israel’s 12 News TV channel that there were about 50 people at the party. According to Israeli media reports, another said there were six people in the pool when the pit opened.
“The water level suddenly started to drop and a hole opened up and created a whirlpool that swept two people in,” an eyewitness told 12 News.
According to Israel’s Times, the owner built the pool without permission from local authorities and the equipment had known infrastructure problems.
