Earlier this year, Jens Stoltenberg was in the latter part of his eight -year tenure as NATO secretary -general, just months away from his next post, as head of Norway’s central bank. But then came the “biggest security crisis in a generation”when Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine.
NATO, he says, is “in the midst of a very fundamental change” already it will reflect the “long -term consequences” of Putin’s actions.
