A woman who was locked in her own bathroom in Bangkok, Thailand, was rescued by police. According to the local Thaiger newspaper, she lives alone and wrote a farewell message on the bathroom wall, thinking she would die in the room.
The incident occurred on August 25. At around 7:00 pm, the victim’s sister called the police, who said she had not been able to reach her for three days.
Upon arrival at the house, the police had to use pliers to climb a long iron door and break the front door. The agents searched the house and when they reached the third floor they heard a knock on the bathroom door. After opening it, they found the “lost” woman.
The landlady explained that when she entered the bathroom, the doorknob was broken and she could not get out. According to him, the incident took place on the evening of August 22 at around 20:00.
The woman, who thought she would die because there was no grocery shopping and she was only moistened with tap water, wrote a farewell message on the wall of the room with her skin products:
I’ve been stuck in the bathroom since August 22. If I die, please have Jay Lek make my will. Please give ownership of Tuk to Tua Toon Tum. I drink tap water to stay alive. If there was no water, I would be dead. I tried to force my way out, I tried to scream, but no one heard me.
The publication did not say who the people the woman mentioned in the message would be.
It was learned that the health of the woman who went to the hospital for a test after being rescued was good.
