Author Mario Reading, a leading expert on the texts of the prophet Nostradamus, says King Charles’ reign may be short-lived and Prince Harry may ascend to the throne. He claims that then-Prince Charles’ divorce from Princess Diana would spark widespread disapproval that would force the new king to dethrone.
Written in 2005, the book reinterprets Nostradamus’ original predictions 447 years ago, suggesting that “a man who never expected to be king” should ascend to the throne, according to a report by the British tabloid Daily Star. This led to the exaggerated claim that he was talking about Prince Harry or even Australian Simon Dorante-Day, who claimed to be the secret son of King Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles.
In the book, Reading uses coded quatrains written in 1555 to accurately predict the year of Her Majesty’s Queen’s death. “The preface is that Queen Elizabeth II will die around 2022, at the age of ninety-six, five years before her mother’s life,” the author writes.
The author used the term “King of the Isles” in one of Nostradamus’ prophetic poems. .
“Prince Charles will turn seventy-four when he ascends the throne in 2022, but after his divorce from Diana, Princess of Wales, some of the British population still remains resentful of him,” Reading writes.
He then predicts that, given King Charles’ advanced age, public pressure will force him to abdicate in favor of Prince William. He makes an even more dramatic claim in the second revision of his book, published the following year.
The author revisits one of Nostradamus’s stanzas that says, “He will replace one who never expects to be King,” and recommends a dramatic reading of this part of the text. “Does this mean that Prince William, who was hoping to replace his father, is no longer in the picture?” he asks.
Reading says William was unable to assume the royal role for any reason. “Prince Harry, by default, becomes king instead. That makes him King Henry IX at just 38 years old.”
Australian Simon Dorante-Day, believed to be the secret son of the King and Queen Consort, has also been suggested as a possible replacement for King Charles.
The 56-year-old told 7 News Australia: “This is definitely a reason to think, as the prediction made it clear that Charles would be replaced by an out-of-left field player. I can see some people thinking I fit the bill.”
“I believe I am the son of Charles and Camilla, and I look forward to my trial day to prove it. Maybe Nostradamus has the same understanding as me that one day all this will happen.”
