One woman lost almost a million dollars in lottery prizes by throwing the ticket in the trash along with others from previous attempts. Surprising event St. Louis, Missouri (USA).

The unnamed player has always hoped to make good money in lottery prizes of $50 Million, and he gambles nearly every week, according to FOX News.

However, her fate changed when she bought a scratch card at a convenience store in early September. Scratching the prize result, he didn’t look closely at the message and, disappointed, threw the ticket in his car trash.

However, the scratch card showed that he was the winner of the $1 million prize.

Curious, though disappointed, she decided to check the ticket again, and then was surprised to realize that the millionaire prize was actually hers.

“I stopped at the gas station to check my ticket to make sure I didn’t throw out the winning tickets,” the woman told the Missouri Lottery website.

“I couldn’t believe it was real. Maybe [o scanner] I was wrong, but I kept saying I was a winner. I won $1 million!”
