A man this morning in London, the capital of England, is the Queen of England who died last week. He stabbed two police officers near the tail of those accompanying Elizabeth’s funeral. According to the Metropolitan Police, the guards are a man and a woman and are fine despite minor injuries from the attack.

The company said two officers were patrolling Leicester Square when they received information about a suspect with a knife near the scene. When they found the boy, they tried to stop him, but they were stabbed. Other officials came to help them.

Victims of the attack were just doing their daily work and Queen II. They’re not part of the police operation involving Elizabeth’s funeral. While investigations into the situation continue, the incident is not believed to be linked to a possible terrorist act.

The suspect, reported to be in his 20s, was arrested for causing grievous bodily harm and assaulting a British emergency service worker. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Superintendent Justin Browne of the Midwest Command Unit defended the officers’ work. “Police officers take to the streets every day to keep London communities safe. Often they have to put themselves in danger, risking their own health to protect others.”

He also valued stabbing victims. “The actions of these two police officers and their colleagues exemplify the core value of courage that runs through the heart of the Metropolitan Police. They will receive all the support they need as they begin to recover from this horrific event.”
