Residents of Prince Albert set up a fundraiser to help the Ukrainian army faced with Russian aggression.

The second fundraising dinner will be held on Saturday, May 21 at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Prince Albert.

The funds raised will go to a charity that provides non -lethal equipment, medical supplies and assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Nicolas Duny discussed this with Taras Kachkowski, a member of the organizing committee of the Prince Albert Ukrainian Fundraiser as well as a member of the subcommittee preparing for the arrival of refugees at the Ukrainian Canadian Congress.

He said a food organization approached him at a protest against the war in Ukraine in March.

Together they decided to raise funds to help those fighting the war in Ukraine.
