The knowledge economy secretary Ariel Sujarchuk said Thursday that the government is considering new measures to revive the sector, including a simplified monotax for “freelancers” in the technology sector.

“This measure is under study and it is a project that we intend to implement that seeks to empower all those who are local workers and programmers without engulfing the national sector. This exchange rate regime that seeks to promote exports would be similar to the one regulated this week for hydrocarbon companies and was anticipated by the Minister of Economy, Sergio Mass.

Finally, Sujarchuk is also preparing a “set of measures that have to do with support through Non-Reimbursable Contributions (NRAs)” to SMEs.
